    @ScreamingScallop …
    @ScreamingScallop Now i would swear they didn’t just slap one bionic arm, an eye, and a pair of legs on him but had to surgically reconstruct and augment most of his body after the crash. That and you have to tweak the rest a little or a super jump could kill him. He has a Titanium steel reinforced skeleton/spine if nothing else to help.

    I remember they had a bionic man in the movie Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, but because of budget cuts, the government only gave him one bionic leg… so every time he jumped he went sideways… lol

    Okay where can I see the ORIGINAL title when she sings ” He’s a man – Six Million Dollar Man”, and I think there were at most THREE TV pilots. Yeah I have a GEEKY memory…

    That’s the action …
    That’s the action figure that I had with the hole in the back of the head for the bionic eye and the rubber skin that peeled back on the bionic arm to show the bionics inside. You pressed the button on the back of the action figure and he lifted the car engine. I was 11 years old in 1976, they were good days.

    This is awesome, I …
    This is awesome, I wish they’d make a re-imagining of this classic series, with Chris Nolan to direct. I imagine it starting, showing Steve Rogers in his fatal accident, in slow motion, shoing every detail of his body decimated and crushed in the accident, although not too graphic, but enough to give that hard hitting sense of realism that this is a “Man2 who has then been transformed in2 a Cyborg. I know thats bit far out there, and re-imaginings r not every1s cup of tea, but I am a fan.

    @Davewise1965 I …
    @Davewise1965 I spent my birthday money 1976 aged 8 on that action figure with the burgundy tracksuit. There is cinecamera footage of me doing the slow motion run in ’75. I’m NOT putting it on YT.

    I’ll check it out, …
    I’ll check it out, @dynagravitomagnetic. One thing that disappointed me in this series was after the 3rd season, the stories got too stupid. I actually got to a point, where I’d just watch the intro and turn the channel and watch Star Trek, MASH or something else. I heard they lost a key writer after the second season, which would explain why the series turned into rapidly.

    @ScreamingScallop …
    @ScreamingScallop hahaha that’s right! When the original comic of “superman” was printed, he could not fly, but jump really far because the planet he came from had a greater gravity than ours, by the time the first movie came out with christopher reeve, he could leave the atmosphere fly around the world and reverse the rotation of the earth!
