This clip is from the movie called “The Green Mile.” I don’t know why in the world this part of the movie touched me so much, but it did. I couldn’t find it -anywhere- online, so I decided to put it up to share with everyone. The Green Mile is an amazing movie and I hope you take the time to see it at least once! I do not own any of this all copyrights belong to Warner Bros.

Edgecomb – “You are not gonna believe this.”
[Delacroix Laughs]
Delacroix – “Look. I done tame me that mouse.”
Edgecomb – “We see that.”
Delacroix – “Oh, oh. Watch this. Watch what he do.”
[Delacroix Laughs]
Delacroix – “Ain’t he something, now? He’s smart, Mr. Jingles.”
Edgecomb – “Mr. Jingles?”
Delacroix – “That his name. He whispered in my ear.
Hey, Captain, could I have a box for my mouse so he can sleep in here with me?”
Edgecomb – “I notice your English gets better when you want something.”
Delacroix – “Wanna see what else he can do? Hm? Watch, watch. Mr. Jingle, Mr. Jingle? Wanna play fetch? Wanna play fetch? Tu vas aller chercher? Play fetch. Watch, watch, watch.”
[Delacroix laughs]
Delacroix – “He fetch it every time. Every time.”
John Coffey – “That’s some smart mouse, Del. Like he a circus mouse or something.”
[Delacroix laughs]
Delacroix – “Correct. That just what he is too. He’s a circus mouse, and when I get out, he gonna make me rich. You just watch and see if he don’t do that. Play fetch? We play fetch again?”
