I cant really ridicule the new stuff that passes for country. I just don’t feel the kind of connection to it that songs like this used to make with me. Its more than simple memories, its opening a door to a side of myself that doesnt get opened often enough. Makes me wish someone was still producing stuff like this.

Just happen to stumble upon this song, haven’t heard it in years. Takes me back to the days of “real” country music. Always thought this was a great song and the late great Charlie Rich was one the finest artists. His life ended too soon, ” Silver Fox” if your up listening, thanks for the music.
