I just completed reading the book titled “How Buffett Does it-Value Investor” as written by James Pardoe and published by McGrawHill.
This is a Great Book to read,understand and apply the wisdom of Mr.Buffett-currently the Top No.1 Billionaire or Richest Person in the World with about USD62 Billions.
Mr.Buffett have listed his 24 simple investing strategies and if you read this book,you will realize that what is being practiced NOW especially by the Malaysian Investors are Not Right and Need to Rethink,React and Reenergise their Investments.
Ramli’s investments is now all with EPF Savings and about 6 to 7 Unit Trusts Companies including the likes of Tabung Haji and PNB.
Can Ramli’s investments kept since started work in 1976 become like Buffett’s investors in his company,Berkshire Hathaway?You know,Mr.Buffett have helped his investors gained almost 500,000% from an investment of USD 1,000 in 1965 to be worth USD 5 Million in 2005!!By just simple calculation,that’s a simple average of 12,500% gained per year for 40 years.
Now,can My EPF or Unit Trusts companies in Malaysia provide me with just 100% returns per year from 1976 to say,2010 (about 34 years)or worst still a 50% return per year on my hard earned life savings ?
What did we get last year on our ROI at EPF,TH,all the Unit Trusts companies in Malaysia?
I hope YOU will read this book on Warren Buffett’s idea of a Value Investor and maybe WE can understand better who is the best people or company to invest and not just “ikut cakap” or “riuh sekampung” reactions of the Market or so called “Professional Financial Advisors”
If We can do The Buffett’s Way of a Great Value Investor,than I think many of US can be Millionaires at least when we retire and able to provide the best support financially to our families and loved ones and not to be so “subsidy oriented” people like what WE are all doing Now!

Whatever he says, it will never be good for everyone.
The lesser he says, the more someone has to look for information about it, so that’s positive, do your homework, that’s a advise from Warren Buffett
