@Tegral88 Anyone who is TRUELUY American is proud of their country. The only thing that we are ashamed of is people who are here and don’t want to be, but in that case they can leave freely so it’s all good so to speak. As for saying that we are not helping people in Iraq, that is a bold faced lie!!! Before we took out Sadam, innocent people were no more than target practice for the fanatical military psycos over there…

My dad worked for …
My dad worked for the navy seals, he died a few years after for the things he went through…. i plan to serve my country in the U.S Maries, this country is the greatest and very few appretiate it i am willing to give my life for my country, as long as we stand strong, and as long as we stand strong I will fight until my last breath.

@thedarkening2012 That your choice. You dont have to say “one nation under god”. Our soldiers have died for you to be able to belive what you want. If you dont want to say it, thats your choice. But why make it so people who do believe in god cant? You dont have to say “one nation under god”, but should say the rest.

… Vietnam was prior to my service (actually I am the son to a Nam vet) and I am currently a 17+ year USAF Veteran. Sometimes the hardest part is to hear thank you … because I never know what to say in return. I have a few uncles who served in Vietnam … and can certainly understand the emotions.

Viet Nam was a mess..I wished I never came home..we came home to nothing…At age 20 it has been a long tough road to deal with..your job at that young age to kill people..
