Why is the majority of blacks democrats?

The last several days I have been reading my history book and it was saying that many blacks were republicans but then the kkk threatened them to vote democrat or they will be killed or tormented. But I also heard that blacks are just ignorant and dont want to research about all the parties and figure out what each of them are about. I also heard that blacks have a mindset that republicans are for the rich and democrats are for the poor. What is the truth?
The truth is…Republicans stand for liberty and less Government control of our lives…they are pro business because businesses is what drive a capitalist economy. They believe if people invest and businesses flourish then more jobs are created and more opportunities are available for everybody. Wealth and prosperity is what drives our economy…simple as that.
Do some people get really rich?…of course…that is the objective. Rich people are the ones who create jobs and donate to scholarships and support athletic teams and drive the economy. Why punish them?
What good could possibly come from that?

You cannot compare what the parties were long ago to what they are now.
Democrats used to be the pro-slavery party, now they’re the pro Civil-Rights, pro Affirmative-Action party.

the democrats used to be the party of the south, and also in the north. when LBJ put in civil rights legistaltion in the 60s, all the white racists left the democratic party and became republicans
now the democrats are the party of the people

I don’t believe the statement blacks are ignorant, that is simply racist. I do believe more blacks back democrats because democrats fund social programs and affirmative action more than republicans.

The Pimp (Democratic Party) keeps the Ho (Blacks) ignorant and hooked by keeping her high (instituting policies that keep Blacks on the government dole). A long as the Pimp keeps the the drugs flowing, the Ho will continue turning tricks for her man (voting Democratic).

I’m sorry to perpetuate the stereotype but, I’ve seen proof with my own eyes. There are 3rd and 4th generations of welfare recipients out there who vote primarily on what a politician promises to give them for free. Democrats use class warfare and racism to brainwash the government educated masses. They create an entitlement mentality. "The success of one citizen is the direct cause of your failure." This is the opposite of the American dream. This is the opposite of individual achievement. This is the opposite of what the founding fathers and countless lives given in the revolutionary war and civil rights movements stand for. Furthermore, it is especially sad in the recent remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that this constituency would choose more government control of their personal lives to dictate your lifestyle health as they see fit.
