Well I don’t own any land, but we would have to do what we have to do. Don’t forget about bicycles, we"d def. ride them to work or school. Of course, people would most likely have to invest in buying a horses to use as transportation. Yet even w/ a horses
you’d have to shelter it, feed it and care for them. So that would come out your pocket as well. I could live w/out all the material things as long as I had the basics. Hey as long as I have a roof over my head for and food in my stomach I’m good. It would be a major adjustment for everyone. Give us a taste of how it was back when our technology we have today didn’t exist back then. Clothe diapers are a hassle, but they can be used. I need a whole lot of candles to replace the electricity.I can’t say I really know how to sew, but I sure as hell would try to do a better job at it. I would have to learn how to sew and preserve food better. If I couldn’t afford to send my children to school anymore then I would home school them. I may not like all the changes that would occur but if I wanted to survive then I do what must be done.

We live in a small area. We'd switch to deasel. My husband commutes an hour each way to work. So basically we'd be screwed. Even now we are feeling it majorly having to pay $4.55 a gallon yesterday

given there is NO public transportation in my city, i suppose we'd have to walk everywhere we went..... if it happened, then it happened not a whole lot we can do about it but cope with it and adapt to our new economy. (gas going bye-bye WILL [not could] throw america into an economic depression, possibly even faster and more severe then in 1929)

look for better public transportation.Cleveland does not have the best system , but it is functional
