    I agree, and I …
I agree, and I don’t really like Robbins either. He shouts theories that are hard to implement. For me, I really started to dislike him when he offends people ‘to break their patterns’. He uses ridicolous pseudo-psychology techniques, such as telling a well-mannered 50 years old Norwegian lady, ‘you look like a man!’. According to him, that broke ‘her negative pattern’. Another time a guy jumped onstage and embraced him, and Robbins treated him really badly.

no, but I was able …
no, but I was able to get off welfare benefits, open a business, learn to sell, learn to use my logic over my negative emotions, learned to be TOTALLY honest and learned to be a MUCH smarter person overall. And not just about money. I don’t need to be filthy rich to live a better life. It’s not just about money and Brian’s material is not so narrow-minded.
I can tell you that EVERYTHING that I learned from Brian, works, and to me he’s the best educator I came across.
    Thanks Brian !!

    I believe you …
I believe you should ask fearlesshannibal, he came up with that point lol. Seriously, though, I don’t think I can relate to a person who learned that kind of lesson in such an ‘unorthodox’ way. I mean, real people want to learn from people that’s been through the same stuff. I’m sorry to say this but when someone who doesn’t know a lot about drinking as an adult tells me “dude, you should not drink, it’s bad for you” I just can’t relate to that individual.

    I don’t see your …
I don’t see your point. Ok, so his mother used a rather unorthodox method of parenting. I really don’t see what that has to do with Tony or how that makes him too aloof for people to relate to.

    I too find Tony …
I too find Tony Robbins to be a bit apart from most people. I mean, the guy wrote in one of his books that he has never drunk because his mother had him drink a full six pack of beers when he was barely a teenager so that he knew what being drunk was like, making him sick in his stomach so he would never take up drinking. I don’t think that’s what most parents do with their children to teach them a lesson. Too extreme and a bit sad if you ask me.

I found one of his audio programs in my uncles junk. I listened to it on the way to work, which helped. He delivers effectively, keeping it simple and to the point. No such thing as a coincidence… Life is what you make it.

    i mean, like when i …
i mean, like when i watched his autobiography, he was so gifted. first at baseball, then at interviewing, then became a public speaker at SUCH a young age. I mean, it’s hard to relate to him. that’s all i am saying. there’s no doubt that he is an intelligent man but I can relate to brian tracy/jim rohm more with my blue collar background. nothing against robbins.
