What foods are high in magnesium and potassium? And what are all the benifits of these nutrients?
Posted by admin on Mar.06, 2010, under Riches Recommends (1) Comment
I’ve heard that magnesium is really good for you as far as helping alleviate sterss, and potassium is a good thing to gave along with it…
Can someone recommend some foods rich in magnesium and potassium please and maybe explain all the benifits of these nutrients.
I have always had alot of anxiety my whole life and I believe it is due to bad diet , so I really believe that a proper diet will help me.
Thanks for your time.
I highly recommend a low carb way of eating (<9grams carbs per hour) to normalize hormones and allow your adrenals to heal. Nuts & seeds are high in magnesium & nutritional value. Avocado & bananas are high in potassium. I also recommend a salt substitute which is a cheaper potassium supplement.
Ground flax seed (2-4 Tbsp) 1/4 cup water, artificial sweetener, mix in a raw egg – let sit 10 min. to absorb liquid, put some cream cheese in the middle & nuke 2 minutes. Suggested for daily fiber needs.
Flax seed – 3.5oz – 98% Magnesium – 39% Potassium – 534 cal – 65% calories from fat (high in Omega3 fatty acids) for 2gram carb – 27g fiber 109%DV – 26% DV Calcium – 64% Phosphorus – 29% Zinc – 61% Copper – 124% Manganese – 36% Selenium – 32% Iron – 110% Thiamin – 9% B2 Riboflavin – 15% B3 Niacin – 24% Vit.B6 – 22% Folate – 10% Vit.B5
Pumpkin seeds – 3.5oz – 134% Magnesium – 23% Potassium – 541 cal – 71% calories from fat for 14gram carb – 4g fiber 16%DV – 4% DV Calcium – 117% Phosphorus – 50% Zinc – 69% Copper – 151% Manganese – 8% Selenium – 83% Iron – 14% Thiamin – 19% B2 Riboflavin – 9% B3 Niacin – 11% Vit.B6 – 14% Folate – 3% Vit.B5.
Sunflower seeds – 3.5oz – 81% Magnesium – 18% Potassium – 584 cal – 74% calories from fat for 11gram carb – 9g fiber 34%DV – 8% DV Calcium – 66% Phosphorus – 33% Zinc – 90% Copper – 97% Manganese – 76% Selenium – 29% Iron – 99% Thiamin – 21% B2 Riboflavin – 42% B3 Niacin – 67% Vit.B6 – 57% Folate – 11% Vit.B5.
Brazil Nuts- 3.5oz – 94% Magnesium – 19% Potassium – 656 cal – 85% calories from fat for 4gram carb & 16% DV Calcium – 73% Phosphorus – 27% Zinc – 87% Copper – 61% Manganese – 2739% Selenium – 13% Iron – 41% Thiamin – 2% B2 Riboflavin – 1% B3 Niacin – 5% Vit.B6 – 5% Folate – 2% Vit.B5.- 29% Vit.E
Almonds- 3.5oz – 67% Magnesium – 20% Potassium – 575 cal – 72% calories from fat for 10gram carb & 26% DV Calcium – 48% Phosphorus – 21% Zinc – 50% Copper – 114% Manganese – 4% Selenium – 21% Iron – 14% Thiamin – 60% B2 Riboflavin – 17% B3 Niacin – 7% Vit.B6 – 12% Folate – 5% Vit.B5.- 131% Vit.E
Raw nuts are living and full of the energy of life and should be capable of building a tree. Roasted nuts are dead & they may still provide some nutrients, but none can compare to the nutrients and enzymes from a live food.
Unfortunately, raw does not necessarily mean living.
For example – Commercially sold almonds are now required to be pasteurized turning a live food into a dead one. You can not sprout an almond that has been irradiated. I buy my almonds direct from growers off ebay. I get 20# for less than $3# including shipping.
April 6, 2007 – Small-scale farmers, retailers, and consumers are outraged over a new federal regulation that will require all almonds grown in California to be sterilized with various “pasteurization” techniques. The rule, which the USDA quietly developed in response to outbreaks of Salmonella in 2001 and 2004, traced to raw almonds, mandates that all almonds undergo a sterilization process that includes chemical and/or high-temperature treatments.
The only exemption to these new regulations will be … small-scale growers who can sell truly raw almonds but only direct to the public
Highly nutritious foods you should consider: sprouts, spirulina, paprika, turnip greens, mustard greens, kale, garlic, brewers yeast, raw almonds, ground flax seeds & chia seeds.
Paprika – 1 Tablespoon = 20 cal = 71% DV Vit.A – 8% DV Vit.C – 10% DV Vit.E – 14% DV Vit.B6 – 9% DV Iron & others way too many to list.
Brewer’s Yeast Powder – Two tblspns. provide a whole lot of nutrition! 158% RDA Chromium – 90% Selenium – 88% B2 – 80% B1 – 50% Copper – 50% Niacin – 40% B6 & others way too many to list. It tastes peanutty to me. I have been adding it to sesame butter, a lil raw honey, coconut cream & coconut oil, powdered whey and tastes like peanut butter to me!

I heard that you should keep their equity of your house liquid ( in cash or portfolio investmnets ) ?
Posted by admin on Feb.28, 2010, under Riches Recommends (6) Comments
I hear the phrase many time" it’s better to be cash Rich and equity poor then Cash poor and equity rich " Everyone recommends taking the equity out of your house and investing it because the market is slipping? They say if your house looses value 20K, you just lost that 20K because you did not pull the money out…..
But what is your "portfolio investment” don’t yield as much as you interest on the Home Equity line of Credit? Also what if your house is work 200K, and then you pull that equity and the value drops, then what? Are you upside down?
I simple can’t understand the urgency for people to do this unless then are paying down high interest credit cards?
What do you think?
No, not really true. First, real estate is for most people primarily a place to live and secondarily an investment.
When you say "pull the money out", unless you actually sell your house, all you’re doing is borrowing money against the difference between what your house might be worth if you did sell and what you still owe. If you do borrow that money and have trouble repaying, or if your equity drops below what you’ve borrowed, there’s a good chance you’re going to lose your home. Then, instead of paying down the loan on your home, you’re going to be throwing it away on rent.
What most people who are contemplating what you’ve described wind up doing is wasting the money they get from the home equity line and wind up losing the house instead.
Don’t do it unless you know exactly what you’re doing.

I’m tired of working hard in life and not getting any respect. How can I get rich and not work so hard?
Posted by admin on Feb.25, 2010, under Riches Recommends (2) Comments
What books would you recommend for getting rich, getting involved in real estate? Give me some good advice for becoming wealthy.
Buy Law of Success By Napoleon Hill on amazon for like $30 bucks.
This author of this book studied 16,000 people for 25 years.
He had CLOSE, not small, VERY CLOSE ties with Andrew Carnegie, who was owned the American Steel Corporation.
This book is mostly based upon the life work of Henry Ford who created the Ford car company and was a billionaire in todays money.
Basically, this book as clear instructions on how to achieve anything in life with little effort, just like you said. The author of the book even says that Hard work is NOT enough in life.
Many people work hard and get no where. This book will allow you to get others to work for you so you have to put in less effort.
You will learn every little secret of success. It will also teach you how to be happy in life. Money alone won’t give happiness, it will bring that happiness, that money leaves behind.
Napoleon Hill was bankrupted during the end of his life b/c he charged very little money to his students b/c he didn’t want to look greedy.
That’s how passionate and kind he was. But one of his students. W. Clement Stone, amassed over 1 Billion dollars and bailed him out.
He made the money with his insurance company. You can do a google search if you doubt this.
Bottom Line: I’m a billionaire as a result of Hill’s teachings. If you don’t believe, I don’t care, makes no difference to me. I only came here because you asked…
"I’m sick of working hard and getting nothing. What books should I read to get wealthy?"
Well, here your answer "Law of Success"
Go on amazon and read the reviews yourself.
How do you get rid of lines around the eyes?
Posted by admin on Feb.22, 2010, under Riches Recommends (2) Comments
How do you get rid of fine lines around the eyes?
Can you recommend a rich moisturiser or cosmetic procedure to get rid of them?
They are recently formed.
Firstly, stop wearing contact lenses, if you need them, switch to glasses.
Secondly, Drink more water.
Thirdly, the product.
Avoid vitamin A or Retinol. It is irritating to the delicate eye area.
Avoid Vitamin C. Most research suggests it is not effective when applied topically, and forms that are, are unsuitable for the eye area.
Stick to creams rather than gels. The eye area has less sebaceous glands than the rest of your face and needs lots more moisture. Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium PCA and Colloidal Oatmeal are all great moisture retainers.
Look for a product containing Vitamin E, a great anti-oxidant to combat the free-radicals that are irritating the eye area. However, Vitamin E is denatured by the air, so best to get a product that comes in a tube, not a jar, and always replace the lid tightly.
The Body Shops Vitamin E eye cream is pretty good, and follows all these rules.
Application:
When using a product, make sure you lightly pat it onto the skin, working inwards under the eye, towards your nose. This will help to prevent dragging and ageing the skin.
Hope this helps & good luck.

What do you think?
i think you should leave the equity in you house alone. It is a loan against your house and if you have a lot of credit card debt you could end up loosing your house over it because you have a huge loan against your house and it is because of your out of control spending.
