I’m doing a secret santa gift exchange with people in my college club, the thing is I drew the name of a new guy who I don’t know all that well. Apparently his family is pretty well off and our budget has to be around $15. I’m not really sure what to give him for $15 that he can’t buy himself.

Any ideas? I really have no idea what to give guys, especially rich guys.

Ok I’ve only used the disk once, and it worked fine on a Vista, which was the computer i saved the files to it on, but now that I’ve tried to open the file on my computer, an XP, my computer doesn’t even realise it’s there. Does it have something to do with the fact that It’s a DVD-r or something simpler like the windows versions being different? I’d also like to add that my computer is about 4 years old and the computer i made the file was bought early this year. I’d appreciate it if anyone could help me. Thank you.

Did you "burn" the files to the DVD?

Does older computer read all other DVD’s?

Windows version is not an issue.

Make sure old DVD drive is ENabled. Go to Device Manager > DISable it >
Restart computer > go to Device Manager and make sure it is ENabled.

Message: To answer your questions from your answer, the computer does read all other dvd’s, the file was saved to the disk not burned to it and yes it’s enabled.

My additional comments:
If the drive is reading other DVD’s then it’s working fine. So the problem has to be with the DVD itself or that the file is not properly placed on the DVD.

On your Vista computer use the DVD Burner Tool to put the files onto/’BURN" the files onto
a fresh DVD this time.
That should resolve the problem.

I have heard Conservatives say that the Progressive Tax System seeks to make Rich/Wealthy People por or poorer but is this even possible since the Rich/Wealthy have so much money ?

The progressive tax is meant to enhance social mobility, so that the poor have a fighting chance at climbing the economic ladder, instead of staying oppressed by the super rich as they were before this system

I don’t agree with socialism, but rich people don’t actually get poorer in a socialist system. Unless you tax their net-worth…?

Big corporations do not like socialism for everyone else because it does mean more government regulation for them. They actually have a form of socialism themselves in the form of government bailouts, subsidies and tax lurks. Why would they want their underlings to have what they have been enjoying for years? Ever heard of ‘privatize the profits, socialize the losses’? That about sums it up.

The poor don’t do enough for the rich. How can we lighten the load on the rich and make the poor pay even more?

By making the poor better off as well. I’m currently traveling in India and though its awash in wealth, I don’t know if anyone who was brought up in the developed world would want to live here, no matter how rich they were. Everywhere you go, poverty. You can hide in a limo, but you’d still have to endure the sickness and despair all around you.

Make the rich richer? Focus on society and bring the rest up.
